I’m an Army brat born in Germany. Traveled back and forth several times to the States before finally settling in Mt. Vernon Indiana. Went to Kindergarten and part of First grade  before moving up to New Harmony where I spent the better part of my life growing up with 1 Brother and 4 Sisters. Run a round down South for a year or so after I graduated high school before coming back to Indiana and joining the U.S. Air Force. Put in almost 5 years – which includes a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my [future] wife. 4 Daughters (God is paying me back for something), 9 Grandchildren and 34 years working in corporate America later… I have retired, traveling around my beloved Caribbean with my wife and attempting to impart a little humor with this blog about our travels.
