A mostly quiet Sunday~~

I was up about my usual time this morning even though I stayed up a little later than usual last night. My Bride bagged out early and left me here to my quiet little self. I don’t mind….. I kind of enjoy the quiet….well, my kind of quiet….. nobody talking and a little bit of decent music barely audible in the back ground. I moseyed into bed around 23:00 (11:00pm) and drifted off almost immediately to sleep. I woke up around 06:30 and flopped and wallered for about 10 minutes before going ahead and getting up. Oddly, I don’t lounge well in bed. I always thought I’d like to be able to, but in the last 64+ years haven’t got the hang of it yet. I got up and quickly knocked out the morning ‘have to do’s‘ and settled in with my little news feed. Sadly, nothing encouraging…… I finally shut it off and sat and made me a list of things I’d would like to have got done during the course of the day. I did find out the Shawn and Cynthia were coming by for burgers, so I had a deadline to beat as well. As it turns out my bride must have needed the extra sleep, as she didn’t roll out until around 10:00 and by the time she did, I had most of my to-do list knocked out. I sat and piddled while we drank coffee and I actually cleaned up everything on my list, plus a couple. Heck yeah~!!

The kids came by, we had burgers and dogs and chatted for a bit. Always enjoy their visits. I got to grill up some new hot dogs I found and I am happy to report they tasted every bit as good as I was hoping they would~! I enjoy a good hotdog almost as much as I do a good burger….almost~ That’s about it. I have to get batteries charged up and ready for another day in the water tomorrow. I have to rotate to the other camera and batteries. I try to switch them out every couple of weeks….. kind of give the one camera and set of batteries a rest. Not sure if it does any good, but am confident, it doesn’t hurt anything~~

((Heads up Vera— more EEL stuff coming up)  😉

Good Night Y’all > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thankx for stopping by~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
