The week goes on……..

Sleep for us both last night was mildly better than the night before…….loaded with drugs Angie slinked off to bed fairly early and zapped out for about 4 hours before the hacking and coughing started again. She had asked about sleeping out on the couch and I initially said I didn’t like it because I wouldn’t be able to hear her if she needed help—- but I felt sorry for her last night and told her go on out. I know personally sometimes it’s easier/better to sleep “sitting up” on the couch. I laid in bed for a while trying to hear her and finally got up and shut the A/C off and opened our door so I could hear. I didn’t sleep well the rest of the night afraid I wouldn’t hear her, but finally made it long enough to get up when she did. She claims to be much better. She looked and acted like she felt better. Fever is gone and by late in the afternoon, she even drove out to the pharmacy to pick up more drugs for me and her. Secretly, I think she is trying to convince me she is well enough to go to work tomorrow. I told her I thought it was a bad idea — but Miss Hard head is going anyway…… boy there is a big shock~~ But I know she looks forward to that, so I’m not gonna be the horses a$$ to tell her no.

I spent a miserable afternoon on the phone with insurance companies trying to get Angie’s prescription service lined out. I think probably 3/4 of the issue is the kids we have to deal with at the pharmacy that don’t know squat about the billing part of it. The rest of it was a REALLY uncooperative PoS at the on-line pharmacy that I was trying to get set up with……. whole thing made me want a drink and a cigarette…… of which I’m doing neither right now. I have to have some blood work done (tomorrow) and Doc wanted me to stay on the wagon 3 days prior to the blood withdrawal. I haven’t had an alcoholic drink since Saturday night- so I should be good to go.

About ready to get back in the water, except there is no boat going out….. Dammit Emmit~! We’ll see what Thursday brings. For now, my truck has got 4 new tires, my Queen is feeling better and heading back to work, the swelling in my leg and foot are almost back to normal and as soon as I get the rest of my gear (which should be tomorrow) I’m ready to get back in the water. We’re almost back to normal in our little piece of the world.

Good Night Y’all : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :  Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
