With the knowledge of kind of an unexpected day off…. I stayed up a little bit late…. but still woke with the sunrise, once again feeling decently refreshed…. I really like it when I do that. Nothing other than getting another walk in…. I had nothing else planned for the day. I put my new handy-dandy insoles into my new shoes – put on a new pair of socks and headed out like a herd of turtles~! The plan was to maybe, possibly, kinda might hit the 4 mile mark today. Suited up appropriately for the journey….. I started out with good intentions. What I did not start out with, was a little something in my belly. I have found out I don’t really like to walk after my normal breakfast….. but today I learned – I need to put a little bit of something in there before I head out. About ½ way through my planned journey…. I noticed I was starting to huff and puff…. something I don’t normally do until right at the end. I guess that one swaller of OJ didn’t get me very far. One small course change in my journey messed it up…. taking me a little farther than I originally planned…. and I paid for it. But I hung tough – still taking some pictures I think you’re gonna love, and stayed at it, finishing close to my target time per mile. Finally back – tired, and soaking wet with sweat….. I made and still felt pretty good about the trip. Like I said – I got some shots I think you’re really gonna like, as my entire trip kept me right along the shore line of our beautiful Caribbean Sea.
The rest of the afternoon was spent editing pictures, trying to resuscitate our checking account and watching one of the sappiest series we have seen in a while. My Queen likes the series and has been watching it, and I join her in watching it every once in a while (When Calls the Heart) I think even the title is stupid, but what do I know. Dinner is cooking in the kitchen and after I get done with my evening ‘stuff’ – I get to watch my latest series… Designated Survivor. As a rule – I don’t particularly care for Keifer Southerland, but he does a suitably acceptable job in this role. A little bit hokey at times – but still a good series. (Vera– if you haven’t seen that one yet – you will probably like it) 😉
Tomorrow starts a very busy 5 days for me….. diving taking pictures and riding ATV’s taking pictures every day. I am looking forward to it. Keeps me busy…. makes a little bit of money and I am doing things I enjoy doing….. a pretty good combination~! Not sure if I’m going to try and use my new camera on the trails, as the camera takes a pretty good beating while riding…. but we’ll see…. just another challenge…….. 😉
Good Night Ya’ll > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thankx for stopping in~!
Massive old anchor
Beautiful pictures,,, can really tell difference with your new camera, awesome,,so much to see and everything so colorful. Glad you are walking, know good for you, something I never got to do, by time we knew we should do this, and had time, my joints were so bad Drs said NO,, just do regular walking as was wearing them out too quickly to add any more pressure to them,,soooo, never had the fun!,ha,, of walking. Yes I watched designated Survivor when it was on. Don’t like Keifer much either, but seems better since older. Good show, not sure if watched last season, will have to check to see if new one since I watched last. Another good one was Quantico, but I had hard time understanding, too much noise, and not speaking clearly. Also another one, got too dark for me,, Blacklist, both my kids here really like. I just came across old one, going to start again, as think liked it, but don’t remember much is Alais,,with Jennifer Gardner,,,5 seasons on Amazon,,,seems like Amazon has a lot of new movies and shows,,,just in last week or so, or maybe me. I am with you, Where Calls The Heart, too sappy, and slow for me. If you haven’t tried Blacklist, think you would like ,,,if find any more will let you know. Rick came home today, long way from being out of woods yet,,that’s a dumb statement,,, not in woods,,,long way from being well, need all good thoughts and prayers can get, infection has to be killed, and will have self infusion medication 3 times a day for over a month. Needless to say, I am Beyond worried,,, I sleep eat and sleep And pray,,,Having a ,, hard time dealing with this, That’s all I know for now, enjoy your stuff every night ,keep up good work, stay safe, stay well. Love to both,
Glad you’re enjoying the pictures Vera. They’re only gonna get better as I learn how to use the camera. A smart little beggar that camera — smarter than I’ll ever be – even if I live to be 200. BUT – it does take some gorgeous pictures and I’m really excited to learn how to use it properly…. and once I get my housing for it – I’ll be able to take it deep with me and hopefully get some real good shark pictures~!!! I told you about my series last night — you would probably REALLY like the series Angie is watching too…. ”When Calls the Heart”….. kind of reminds me of New Harmony… I think you’d really like it~! Thankx for writing…. I hope you are well.
